A cost-effective way to build your organisation's leadership competencies at a fraction of the cost of traditional leadership development training.
The next generation of leaders want to do things that matter and have a passion for making a difference. They are connected, collegial and focus on collaboration and creating shared value. Next generation leaders face new demands to be more resilient, to be culturally adaptive, to solve new and complex problems and to be inclusive, innovative and imaginative.
The Leasing Foundation Future Leaders is a programme of leadership development that identifies, nurtures and supports a network of exceptional people who are the future leaders of the industry. The programme is centred on authentic, relevant personal development and reflection.
Participants explore issues including how to connect strategy to purpose, how to identify, nurture and create excellence, how to act imaginatively and inclusively and how to focus on creating shared value. It recognises the common aspirations of emerging leaders to be models of thinking and acting, to challenge conventional wisdom, to empower others to act and to be values-based, reflective and purposeful.
Participants work together in a facilitated learning set where they can draw on each others’ experiences and insights and explore current and future leadership challenges. The programme is led from within the industry and is based on a modern self-organised learning approach that integrates with the demands of modern careers.
Only 13% of companies rated their organisations as having ‘excellent’ leadership programs at all levels – whether new, next generation or senior – with 87% rating their programs as ‘weak’ or ‘adequate’.Deloitte global Human Capital Trends survey
We are fully supportive of the Future Leaders programme which allows our future industry leaders to start building their own networks and allows unprecedented access behind closed doors to some of our industry’s top leaders.
The Future Leaders programme is a unique, world class professional development environment for the best young talent in our industry. As a Foundation director, I am extremely proud of it. As a leader with responsibility for developing my successors, I am very grateful it exists.
The Future Leaders programme program is a fantastic vehicle for taking motivated, intelligent people and giving them both a deeper understanding of the business finance market and a network of like minded individuals to help them as they develop their careers.
Future Leaders provides an opportunity for our high-potential people to network with individuals from a variety of different banks and leasing companies, and provides a valuable insight into the cultures of companies in our industry.
